Open Congratulations

Congratulations are due to Katy Giles (Level 2 Part-time) who has had work accepted for the Leeds Art Gallery Open this year, the show will run from 25 August to 23 September.

As with previous annual 'open' exhibitions, it serves as an exceptional opportunity to see fresh work by artists, some of whom rarely have a chance to exhibit, alongside recent work by many of the region's established artists. In recent years, the range of the works on show has helped attract a large and varied audience, and a good number of the exhibits get sold.

This year's selectors are Leeds-based independent curator Glynn Thomson; Lara Eggleton, Assistant Director of ESA Patrick Studios, Leeds; and archivist at The Henry Moore Institute, Victoria Worsley.
